Wilson Hills is a hill station in the Indian state of Gujarat. It is located near Dharampur Taluka and is also the nearest hill station to Surat. Presently Tourism Department is thinking of a development project here too. If you come in summer you will enjoy cool weather & famous local mangoes.

Wilson Hills is situated in a densely forested region close to the Pangarbari Wildlife Sanctuary. What makes this little hill station special is that, it is one of the rare hill stations in the world from which we can have a glimpse of the sea!

It has an average elevation of 750m (2500 feet). The Wilson Hills are popular during the summer months as it enjoys a cooler and less humid climate than the surrounding area.

This station is 27 Kms away from Dharampur city. The famous “chhatri” made of marbles is the prime attraction of this place. It is one of the best sites for people who are interested in activities like Trekking.

What are the things you can do in Wilson Hills?

It is also known as mini Saputara, but it doesn’t really have as many points to see as there are in Saputara. If you enjoy the journey more than the destination, Wilson Hills is the perfect place for you to visit.

Curvy roads like to riding bike, hills covered with greenery, view of the valley from the top of the hills, farms, little villages and its people make Wilson Hills on of the best places to visit. many people do Trekking in small hills. I personally enjoy the journey more than destination, hence it was a perfect place for me.

Best time to visit Wilson Hills time in Monsoon, you’ll witness heaven-like atmosphere on Wilson Hills. The hills are always covered with clouds and rains if you visit during Monsoon. either you can go in winter. but Monsoon is the best 🙂

well tacking about place in Wilson, There are not many points to visit once you reach the top. Major attraction of Willson Hills is Barumal temple, which is located at the middle of the hills.

Wilson Hill Station and Shankar Waterfall stand in an impenetrable forest area near Dharampur in the Valsad district of Gujarat.

Shankar Fall is close to the famous Wilson Hills, a hill station situated in the Pangarbari Wildlife Sanctuary. I had a chance to plan an excursion to Wilson Hills lately. You are missing a good day in your life if you haven’t been at places like Shankar Waterfall and Wilson Hills.
